Circular Value Forum: Genova a leader in the circular economy

02/04/2025

Genova is increasingly positioning itself as a leader in the circular economy, demonstrating that this economic model can generate abundant resources and reduce environmental impact. The innovative ‘C-city - Genova Circular City’ project aims to transform the city through a medium- to long-term city-system strategy based on three macro-processes: ecodesign, long-use and reuse.

As part of this project, the City of Genova, in collaboration with the Chamber of Commerce of Genova and the organisational support of ClickUtility Team, promoted the Circular Value Forum. The event, sponsored by Rai Liguria and with the participation of ENI as main partner and Ansaldo Energia as gold partner, will be held on 8 and 9 April in the Tursi, Tobia Pallavicino and Borsa palaces.

The forum will be an opportunity for circular cities, companies and institutions to discuss crucial issues such as sustainable energy and production processes, efficient resource management and technological innovation. Sectors involved include manufacturing, agribusiness, textiles, blue economy, energy and construction.

The event is part of the National Made in Italy Day initiatives and will include the ‘Eco Fashion Show: between sustainability and glamour’, the first fashion show in Italy dedicated to sustainable fashion. In addition, there will be a Career Day, a ‘Zero Waste’ food contest and a rich conference session.
