Presentation of the 13th National Welding Days and the 78th Annual Assembly and International Conference of the International Institute of Welding in Genoa
On Wednesday, March 12, at the headquarters of the Italian Institute of Welding on Via Lungobisagno Istria, the presentation of the Thirteenth National Welding Days took place, an annual reference point for the sector. This year, for the first time, the event will be held in conjunction with the 78th Annual Assembly and International Conference of the International Institute of Welding, a unique occasion that promises to be a benchmark for the industry.
During the presentation, the technical-scientific and social program of this unprecedented event was illustrated. The opening ceremony will be held at the prestigious Teatro Carlo Felice on June 22, 2025, while activities will continue at the Magazzini del Cotone until June 27. A special event for young professionals is also scheduled for June 24 at the Rossopomodoro pizzeria.
The central themes of the 2025 edition will include artificial intelligence and digitalization, green hydrogen and energy transition, quality control, 3D printing, and new technological frontiers in the welding sector. These topics will be addressed through a series of workshops, conferences, and discussions featuring the participation of professionals and experts.
In addition to the technical and scientific aspects, the event will offer numerous opportunities to showcase the city of Genoa to international guests, promoting its cultural heritage and local excellence. The National Welding Days are therefore expected to be an important showcase for the city, capable of combining innovation and tradition in a context of global relevance.
