Genova in the spotlight at MIPIM: great interest in the real estate opportunities and urban projects of ‘La Superba'

The City of Genoa successfully concluded its participation in MIPIM 2025, the international fair dedicated to the real estate market and urban development, held in Cannes from 11 to 14 March. The city presented an ambitious and sustainable vision for the future, attracting the attention of numerous investors and industry professionals.

During the event, Genova showcased key urban regeneration and technological innovation projects, including the Eastern Waterfront and the Genova Erzelli Science & Technology Park (Great Campus). These projects, part of the ‘Genova 2050’ strategic plan, aim to transform the city into a globally replicable model of sustainability and innovation.

 The Councillor for Urban Planning, Maritime State Property, Economic Development and Promotion, together with the Genova City Council's Sustainability Manager and important industry players such as GHT S.p.A., Gabetti Holding and Nomisma, presented the city's long-term development strategies during the workshop ‘Future Perspectives towards 2030/2050’.

The event and the B2B meetings aroused great interest among public and private investors, who were attracted by the opportunities offered in the hi-tech, urban regeneration and digitalisation sectors, exploiting the City's potential in terms of the need to boost student housing and tourist accommodation offer.

Among the leading investors and developers attending MIPIM 2025 were Nuveen Global, Apollo Global Management, RINA Prime Value Services, Nomisma, DWS International, Prelios SGR, IPI Group, Oliva Real Estate, INVIMIT, CBRE Investment Management Europe, Europtima, Patrizia Sem Prologis, Kroll Advisory, OICE, Lombardini22 S.p.A., Vitali S.p.A., Savills, CDEP, OBR, Colliers Italy S.p.A., Deacapital and Sweden House.

The participation of Genova in MIPIM 2025 confirmed the city as a destination for international investment and collaboration, ready to lead the future of sustainable urban development.
